Bombardier Blood: Now playing in your living room!

It feels surreal to be able to play this movie straight from a computer. We are beyond excited to revisit this impressive film and relive the excitement of Chris’s historic climb. If you pre-ordered Bombardier Blood, it’s available to download, watch, cry over, cheer for, gasp at, and all over appreciate! If you didn’t pre-order… rent or buy it now!

Concurrent with the filming of Bombardier Blood, Chris held down a ‘day job’ as GutMonkey’s Expedition Leader. A typical GutMonkey expedition was seven days in remote course areas with about a dozen participants, all affected with a bleeding disorder. The small team would travel daily by canoe or kayak, with everything they need to survive and thrive in the wild. Chris brought far more than backcountry expertise.

Camp chores and long days in boats blended seamlessly into campfire discussions and sharing circles. It was impressive to see Chris lead through example. To share so much of his own personal story to inspire trip participants to process their trials and triumphs. A natural leader, he never invited anyone to step into a place of vulnerability he was not willing to explore.

Patrick and the rest of the very talented Beleive crew included footage captured on these expeditions. We couldn’t be happier to contribute to this beautiful documentary.

Whether it’s summitting Mt. Everest, a kayak expedition, or even exploring a local forest, this holds true: wild spaces are ripe for self-discovery and personal growth.

Congratulations to Chris, Jess, and the many hard-working and talented folks that brought us this incredible story!
