2023 Generation IX Project Mentorship Experience

Welcome to the Mentorship Experience.

A cohort of young adult mentors from across the country convened in Oregon for state-of-the-art leadership training. After which, they led an unforgettable weekend experience for a group of teens.

Making full use of our scenic outdoor spaces, we ventured to Mt. Hood, rafted the Sandy River, and pushed our comfort zones on a high ropes challenge course amidst the giant douglas firs.

Most importantly, we made deep connections that will last long beyond this weekend. Check out our gallery to get a glimpse of the experience.

There’s really nothing like the real thing, though. Registration is open for the fully supported adult program this fall in San Diego. Join us for surfing (adaptive available) and community building at YMCA Camp Surf October 26-29.
