YETI 2026
YETI (Youth Effectively Transitioning to Independence) is a one-of-a-kind weekend where teens with bleeding disorders, and the adults who support them, experience the same program – together! YETI was designed by Pacific Northwest Bleeding Disorders (PNWBD) as an experiential, train-the-trainer weekend where teens and adults experience the same program side by side – ropes courses, real-talk sessions, and all.
Teens leave with more confidence, connections, and leadership skills they can carry into adulthood, while chapter/HTC leaders gain a clearer understanding of what resonates with teens and how to build more impactful programs.
Together with GutMonkey, PNWBD has grown YETI into one of the most unique programs for teens and leaders in the bleeding disorders community nationwide. By experiencing the same challenges, living conditions, and activities as the teens, leaders gain powerful insight into what works — and how to elevate their own programs back home.
