Michele Bunke
Business Manager
Michele Bunke (she/her) has been GutMonkey’s Business Manager since 2022. Her connection to the community began when she attended a GenIX Advocacy program earlier that year. As someone living with hemophilia B, and as a grandmother to Eli who also has severe hemophilia, the mission is personal. She hopes that one day Eli will get to experience GutMonkey adventures of his own.
Before joining GutMonkey, Michele spent many years in corporate leadership roles. She now enjoys bringing that experience into a setting that feels purposeful, meaningful, and community-centered. She keeps GutMonkey’s operations running smoothly, managing finance, payroll, insurance, and organizational systems across the team.
Outside of work, Michele loves spending time outdoors, catching live music, playing pickleball, and being with her family.
